Free Admission at African American Museum This Saturday
As part of a nationwide Museum Day, the African American Museum in Philadelphia ("AAMP") is offering free admission to visitors this coming Saturday.
KYW's Karin Phillips reports that the sixth annual Museum Day is this Saturday, September 25th. Along with hundreds of museums nationwide, the African American Museum will be free to the public that day, from 10am to 5pm.
The day will include presentations by reenactors, arts and crafts, a drum circle, and a film screening.
Ramona Riscoe Benson is AAMP's president and CEO:
"If people are not familiar with us, this is a great way to become a part of this museum's activities and see what we have going on."
