Four Dead After Shootings in Phila. and Atlantic City
Four people are dead in Philadelphia and Atlantic City, NJ after several shootings on Wednesday.
KYW's Al Novack reports that Philadelphia police say they recorded two separate and unrelated homicides. The first was in West Kensington where a 22-year-old woman was shot in the head. It happened near the 2900 block of Mascher Street just after 10pm.
The gunman fled and remains at large.
About 30 minutes later in Southwest Philadelphia, gunfire rang out night near 60th and Chester Avenue. An unidentified man was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
And the Atlantic County, NJ prosecutor's office says they have no suspects in a double homicide in Atlantic City.
Detectives say two people were shot to death while sitting on their front porch in the 1300 block of Caspian Street at around 5:45pm.
The victims were identified as 28-year-old Jan Williams and 25-year-old Marlin Thigpen.
All incidents are being investigated.
