Fire Breaks Out On Grounds Of Villa Joseph Marie HS

By Al Novack

CHURCHVILLE, Pa. (CBS) - It took firefighters more than two hours to extinguish a blaze in a building on the grounds of Villa Joseph Marie High School for Girls.

A Bucks County official says the fire started on the first floor of what's known as "Maria Hall" -- not the high school itself. The fire was reported around 9:20 a.m. The building was promptly evacuated and the blaze was brought under control at about 11:43 a.m.

At the height of the fire, smoke could be seen venting through the roof.

There were no reports of injuries.
