Firefighters Battle Three-Alarm Blaze At Lansdowne Eye Associates In Delaware County
LANSDOWNE, Pa. (CBS) — Firefighters battled a blaze that quickly rose to three-alarms in Lansdowne on Saturday night. Crews were dispatched to 20 E. Baltimore Ave. at 10 p.m.
The building was a one-story commercial building, Lansdowne Eye Associates, with a three-story residential building attached.
Numerous fire companies from across the county worked together to keep the flames from spreading to an adjacent four-story commercial building.
20-Year-Old Man Shot And Killed Near FDR Park, Police Say
The fire was placed under control at 11:16 p.m.
Officials were on the scene for about three hours and were not done cleaning and restoring the equipment until 2:15 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There is no information on injuries or transports at this time.
