Female Driver Injured In 1-Car Crash In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A female driver was taken to the hospital after crashing into a utility pole in Northeast Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at about 1:30 a.m. at Harbison Avenue and Van Kirk Street in the city's Wissinoming section.
According to accident investigators, the female driver somehow lost control while trying to handle a curve in the road. The car ended up driving onto the sidewalk and crashed into a utility pole.
The female was taken to Aria Health's Torresdale Hospital in an unknown condition.
The car sustained significant damage.
The crash remains under investigation.
