Fatal Double Shooting In West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police say one man is dead and another is in critical condition following a double shooting in West Philadelphia.

Authorities say it happened on the 1000 block of Edgemore Road around 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, a 26-year-old male was fatally shot once in the back. The male was transported to Presbyterian Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly before 3:30 p.m.

The second male, police say was shot once in the left shoulder and once in the left hip. He remains in critical condition.

Both victims have not been identified.
