Fall Festival Takes Over Midtown Village
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Midtown Village Fall Festival is an annual block party on Sansom Street between 12th and Juniper, aimed at bringing attention to the businesses in that neighborhood.
The streets around Midtown Village were blocked off for the annual Midtown Village Fall Festival.
"It looks like a bunch of happy people drinking beers and margaritas and enjoying life."
Folks came out to eat and drink:
"I've tried the beers, some of the cheesesteaks, the food is great."
Kuznits: "What's your favorite food?"
"Fish and chips! But I did see a truck that's selling cupcakes, so I'm going to have to try that too."
And there were other things going on in the streets as well:
"There is some kind of sumo wrestling match."
"Music, what else you got a dunk tank."
"Sumo wrestling!"
Kuznits: "Are you able to get through the crowd?"
"It is tough to get through the crowd. Luckily, my friend is pretty pushy."
