South Jersey Family Throws Makeshift Graduation For Widener University Graduate
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) -- A makeshift home graduation gets very official. Emma Burns is a South Jersey graduate of Widener University.
The university's commencement was supposed to be held Saturday at The Mann Center.
So her family decided to throw her a formal commencement ceremony on their front lawn.
There was a podium, speeches and even her dog Rocky was wearing a gown.
Burns earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
