Eagles Form "Ticket Holders' Advisory Board"

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A select group of Eagles season ticket holders will be giving the team brass some direct feedback on the fan experience at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles have picked 34 ticketholders from among 800 applicants who wrote essays on why they should be on the team's "Season Ticket Holder Advisory Panel."

Tim McDermott, the Eagles' chief marketing officer, says Eagles execs will sit down with the group eight to 12 times a year.

"There is a commitment from their side as well," McDermott (above) said of the fans chosen to take part.  "They'll be spending a lot of time with us throughout the year, giving us ideas.  Giving us feedback.  We may send out a survey to them or a poll to them and say, 'Hey, really quickly we need to hear back from you on these things.' "

McDermott says the team will be looking for feedback on off-the-field issues:

"From parking to the music that we play to the way they get communicated with, how often they get an e-mail."

...but only feedback on off-the-field stuff.  The football decisions will still be left to Andy Reid.

McDermott says the team already does ticketholder surveys and focus groups -- but this will be one  more way for fans to vent.  By the way, McDermott says the number-one season ticket holder complaint is about parking.
