Eagles Fans Fired Up for Preseason with Kolb

Football's back in South Philadelphia, as the Eagles beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. And even though it was just a preseason game, fans arrived early for their tailgate parties.

KYW's Jim Melwert reports Eagles fans say it's the dawning of a new era, a chance to at least get a peek at quarterback Kevin Kolb as he takes over under center for Donovan McNabb:

"I'm excited for Kolb; I think he's going to be a great quarterback."

And while the team needs the preseason to knock off some rust, fans need some warm-ups to get back into true tailgating form, like Kathy Flynn, who was feeding about 20 people at her tailgate with hotdogs, hamburgers:

"An endless supply of chips but no ketchup. I'm in trouble we have no ketchup. I'm sorry!"

And, fans say there's nothing like an Eagles tailgate party, while they've been getting by tailgating for Phillies games, they say Eagles pregame parties are more like a holiday.
