Police: Woman, Toddler Critical After Double Stabbing In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say a double stabbing has left a woman and toddler hospitalized. The incident took place on Monday night on the 700 block of N. Preston Street.
Authorities say a woman in her 50's was stabbed, in the shoulder, around 7:36 p.m. Officials add that a 2-year-old boy was also stabbed one time in the head.
The woman was taken to Presbyterian Hospital. She was placed in critical condition.
The toddler was transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by police. He was also listed in critical condition.
Police say a weapon was recovered and an arrest was made.
