Descendants Of Declaration Of Independence Signers Ring Liberty Bell In Annual July 4th Symbolic Ringing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Let freedom ring. The annual symbolic ringing of the Liberty Bell took place Saturday at Independence National Historical Park.
The famed bell was tapped 13 times this afternoon by descendants of some of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence.
The event was co-hosted by the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution.
