Deal Me In
We're still waiting for the weather to really break, but area courses are looking to get you in a warm and fuzzy mood:
Wedgwood in Turnersville, NJ, (see above photo) is offering discounts on prepaid green fees: buy five rounds and save 10%, buy 10 and save 25%, or buy 20 rounds and save 40%. The offer applies to Wedgwood and its three affiliated courses: Beckett, Miry Run, and Springfield Golf Center.
White Oaks Golf Club has a loyalty program: play 7 rounds and get the 8th free. Full details here at www.whiteoaksgolf.com.
I'm a big fan of the golf course at Renault Winery, and now there's another reason to go: stay for dinner at Joseph's Restaurant, which is featuring $14.95 dinners including soup or salad.
At Odessa National Golf Club in Delaware, golf this weekend is $30 including cart. Those rates are good Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Call 302-464-1007 to make a tee time.
Twining Valley Golf Club is selling two-year golf memberships for a low, low $349. That entitles you to green fees seven days a week after 10am. You would just pay a cart fee if needed, which is $15. You can get more info by emailing golfinfo@twiningvalley.com or calling (215) 659-9917.
Manor GC, in Sinking Spring, PA, is selling a Tee Time Golf Pass bundle with these bonuses: an MVP coupon good for a free green fee, a coupon for a large bucket at their range, a free game of bowling at Berks Lanes, and a $10 coupon for a golf purchase at Dick's Sporting Goods. That's in addition to the Golf Pass, which gives you discounted play at more than 375 courses. More details here.
Looking for some good prices on clubs, balls or apparel? You can find those here. It's not as good as golfing, but with a rainy forecast, it can keep you thinking about golf.
