Dad Vail Regatta Resumes Saturday Without Spectators Along Boathouse Row

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A springtime tradition, the Dad Vail Regatta, returns to the Schuylkill River with a few changes. Saturday's event will last only a day instead of the traditional two and there will be no spectators.

The COVID-19 pandemic canceled last year's race.

Local colleges and universities are among those sending over 100 teams of student rowers to take part in America's largest collegiate regatta.
