Cubs Release Excuse Note For Fans Before WS Game 7
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There can't be many Cubs fans, or Indians fans for that matter, focused on anything but baseball today.
The official Twitter account of the Chicago Cubs released this fill-in-the-blank excuse note ahead of Wednesday night's World Series Game 7 between the Cubs and Indians in Cleveland.
The Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908. The Indians have not won the title since 1948. This will be the 37th World Series Game 7 of all-time. Both teams are 0-1 all-time in decisive World Series games.
