Crews Getting Phillies' Ballpark Ready For Postseason Play

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tuesday was a damp, dreary day at the ballpark in South Philly, but the Phillies, their fans, and the stadium crew are getting ready for tomorrow's opener of baseball's postseason.

Crews outside Citizens Bank Park were setting up trusses to hold the lighting and banners for the pre-game block party.  And Phillies fans are looking ahead to 5:07 PM, when the Phils open the National League Division Series against the Reds (see related guide).

Bill Carapucci of South Philadelphia likes the Phillies' chances in this best-of-five series, with Halladay, Hamels, and Oswalt on the mound:

"They got the H20, and I don't think they're going to lose.  At the most they may lose one.  I doubt it.  Probably a sweep."

Phillies' fan Mark Hodges of National Park, NJ says the Fightins were hot through September (23-7), and he's hoping the winning ways continue:

"Hopefully it carries through, all the way through the end of the month and into the next."

That would take the Phils into November -- and into their third straight World Series.
