Coronavirus New Jersey: Gov. Phil Murphy Expected To Make Decision Regarding Remainder Of School Year
TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- A decision about the remainder of the school year in New Jersey is expected to be made Thursday. During a news conference Wednesday, Gov. Phil Murphy suggested a reopening of schools is not likely.
The state's more than 600 school districts have been closed since March 16.
Teachers and students have been working remotely.
There are currently 71,030 coronavirus cases in New Jersey, including 3,156 deaths.
