Cops Search For Patient Allegedly Taken By Armed Man From PA Hospital

WEST CORNWALL Twp., Pa. (CBS) – Police say a man armed with a handgun entered a hospital in West Cornwall Township, Pennsylvania and took a 21-year-old woman.

Authorities say the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on August 9 at Philhaven Hospital.

Police say 18-year-old Elliot Ravert entered the hospital armed with a handgun and removed Alicia Buzzard.

It is unknown if Buzzard willing left with Ravert.

Police say Ravert is driving a green 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche truck with PA registration ZGY-3594.

Buzzard is described by police as 5'4", 140 pounds with brown shoulder length hair.

Authorities believe Buzzard may be at special risk of harm or injury.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Buzzard or Ravert is urged to call police.
