Cooper Hospital To Host Training Session At Camden County College On Combating Ebola

By David Madden

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) -- Camden County first responders and health care professionals, along with the general public, are being invited to a training session this coming week to help combat Ebola.

It's set for Thursday morning on the Gloucester Township campus of Camden County College.

Cooper University Hospital will provide the latest information to attendees.

County freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, who is the board's liaison to the county health department, says, "It is that close contact that really leads to the potential of disease. So we want to make sure they are prepared, that they do know what they need to do in this particular instance to protect themselves."

That includes the proper protocols first responders should use if an Ebola case surfaces.

You have to sign up for the free session.
