Comcast Raising TV, Internet Bills By Nearly 4%
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Comcast customers will be paying nearly 4 percent more for TV and internet services in 2017.
The Philadelphia-based company announced plans to raise bills by 3.8 percent starting Jan. 1.
The average customer currently pays approximately $150 so the hike would tack on an extra $6.
As part of the annual hike, Comcast is also boosting the monthly fee for regional sports networks from $3 to $5 per month.
Comcast enacted a nearly identical rate hike about one year ago.
