City Hall Rally Calls For Freeze On Foreclosures

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A rally supporting a freeze on foreclosures was held outside Philadelphia's City Hall yesterday afternoon.

Among those chanting things like, "bail out the home owners," and, "save our homes," was Claire Gaynor of Northeast Philadelphia. Gaynor says, "I have been in my home for 34 years and I don't want to lose my home. We need to put a freeze on the foreclosures so people who want to honestly pay their money and work with the banks like I'm trying to do can work and save their homes and have a good quality of life.

The Save Our Homes Coalition wants Attorney General Corbett and District Attorney Williams to call for a freeze on foreclosures and investigate and prosecute any fraudulent foreclosure actions.
