Camden County Freeholders Swear In New Board Members
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- It's Inauguration Day for most local towns and in Camden County, it was time to swear in new members of the board.
For the 172nd time, county freeholders reorganized their board, swearing-in two new members: William Moen, Jr. and Susan Shin Angulo.
The annual meeting was held inside the Gloucester Township campus of Camden County College.
Director Louis Cappelli Jr. says this year's goal is to expand on job growth.
"We want to work closely with our municipalities and with our businesses to expand, we want to try and attract new businesses to Camden County and create job opportunities for our residents," Cappelli told KYW Newsradio. "We need a lot of infrastructure. Our roadways, our sewer pipes... and we will be making a lot of significant improvements to our infrastructure this year."
He says the board will also focus on addiction treatment.
Camden County holds 37 towns within its borders.
