Molly Eichel of the Daily News made her weekly stop to the Buzz Bissinger Show to let us know what is happening around the city and suburbs this weekend. - The new James Bond movie, Skyfall will be opening. It is said to be one of the best Bond movies ever made.

- Mirah at Johnny Brenda's (Frankford and Girard), $14, 8 p.m.: One time local girl has long a career making these eerie little folk pieces that are incredibly catchy. Her voice is big and child-like at the same time. Her last record was a collaboration ( Thao + Mirah ) but she's not touring behind any records so I figure she'll bring out some new stuff.

- AVA does "The Barber of Seville" Centennial Hall, 450 Lancaster Avenue, Haverford, PA 19041, Tuesday Nov. 13 & Thursday, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m., next Saturday at Central Bucks South High School, $10-$20.
