Burglars Try To Pawn Items They Stole From Pawn Shop Owner
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CBS) -- The law caught up to two burglary suspects real quick after they tried to sell items they stole from a house at the pawn shop owned by the burglary victim.
According to Clarksville Police, 30-year-old Jeremy Watts and 24-year-old Jessica Heady attempted to pawn several items at a pawn shop last Tuesday. The owner of the store recognized the items and realized his house had been burglarized.
He managed to call police while the suspects were still in the store. Arriving officers arrested the pair and they were booked into the Montgomery County jail.
