Authorities: Body Found In Newton Creek In Oaklyn

OAKLYN, N.J., (CBS) -- Authorities in Camden County say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in a borough creek.

Authorities say Oaklyn Police were dispatched at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a body in the Newton Creek near the White Horse Pike.

Authorities say the man, believed to be in his 30s, was removed from the water by the Collingswood Fire Department.

Detectives are working to positively identify the man.

Authorities say an autopsy will be conducted Wednesday to attempt to determine a cause and manner of death.
