BLOG: Free Museum Day
The Smithsonian Institution and Smithsonian Magazine are holding their 6th annual Museum Day this Saturday, September 25, 2010.
1,300 museums in all 50 states will participate by opening their doors for free. Among those museums in the Philadelphia area that are participating are the Academy of Natural Sciences, the Franklin Institute, the Bucks County Civil War Library & Museum in Doylestown, and the Pearl S. Buck House in Perkasie.
To take advantage of the offer you need to sign up and print out a ticket. That ticket will be good for two people, per address. If you go to Museum Day with more than one guest, your other guests will have to pay full admission.
