BLOG: BUDS Buddy Walk

If you have some free time this weekend, I encourage you to take part in the annual BUDS Buddy Walk. It takes place on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Washington Lake Park in Turnersville, NJ. Funds raised at the event will help to support BUDS.

BUDS, ("Bringing Up Down Syndrome") is a southern New Jersey non-profit organization whose purpose is to help families of children with Down syndrome by offering a variety of programs and services. The organization assists over 300 families in Burlington, Gloucester, and Camden Counties.

The walk is approximately one mile long and has a paved path, so bring strollers, wagons, roller blades, etc. Last year this walk included 1500 participants.
