Report: Bennie Logan Could Miss Rest Of Season
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Despite telling reporters he was "fine" on Tuesday, Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Bennie Logan reportedly could miss the rest of the season.
According to CSNPhilly's Derrick Gunn, Logan could be "shut down for the year" because of a calf injury.
Addressing the media on Wednesday afternoon, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly denied the report saying Logan is "day-to-day."
The Eagles started the season with one of the league's best run defenses, but quickly fell apart. Heading into a Week 16 must-win situation at home vs. the Washington Redskins, the Eagles are currently 30th against the run allowing 134.1 rushing yards per game.
Logan, 25, is one of the Eagles' top run stoppers. If Logan misses time, Beau Allen would likely be the primary replacement.
