By Wally Kennedy
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On May 16th, 18th and 19th, the Philadelphia Orchestra presents Beethoven's "Pastoral" in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center.
Listen to the podcast below...
Paul Arnold
After all these years and performances, what is it that keeps orchestra violinist Paul Arnold excited about Beethoven compositions? How come some music just never seems to get old?
"As a performer, I always tend to find something new in them. And certainly with...even with the most played symphonies, like the Fifth Symphony, I always find something new in them and am enthusiastic to play them. And certainly that's true with the Sixth Symphony, the Pastoral, which we'll be playing," Arnold says.
