Authorities: Officer's Gun Discharged In Haddon Township
HADDON TOWNSHIP, N.J., (CBS) – Authorities say an investigation is ongoing into an incident in which a police officer's firearm was discharged outside a home in Haddon Township, Camden County.
Authorities say Haddon Township Police were called at approximately 4:46 p.m. Thursday to the unit block of Utica Avenue.
According to authorities, police arrived and determined the incident involved two officers from the Audubon Police Department.
Authorities say preliminary findings indicate one of the officer's service weapons had been discharged once in the driveway of the home.
No one was injured, according to authorities.
Authorities say the circumstances surrounding the firearm's discharge are under investigation.
