Attempted Child Luring In Camden Under Investigation

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - An attempted child luring in Camden on Thursday evening is under police investigation.

Authorities say a 13-year-old boy reported that at about 5:30 p.m., in the area of 4th and Emerald streets, he was approached by a man who then asked him his age.

When the boy responded he was 13, the man reportedly asked the child, "Do you want to make me happy?" and "Do you want me to make you happy?"

The boy then immediately ran to the nearby home of a family member who contacted police.

Based on a description provided by the boy, police located a suspect nearby. Roscoe Woodson was detained and arrested on outstanding warrants from an unrelated matter. Criminal charges related to the attempted child luring have not yet been filed.
