Air New Zealand Announces Non-Stop Flights Between Newark And Auckland
NEWARK, N.J. (CBS) -- Air New Zealand has announced it will start flying non-stop between Auckland and Newark Liberty Airport. The flight will cover a distance of 8,800 miles in each direction.
It will be Air New Zealand's longest route and the fifth-longest flight in the world.
The route will operate three times a week, year-round.
Flights are expected to begin next October.
