Afternoon Snowfall Impacts Visibility In Chester County
CHESTER COUNTY, P.A., (CBS) -- As darkness fell, so did snow in Chester County.
The "hit and miss," storm, that was a "miss," for most of the day, produced a steady snowfall beginning around 3:30 pm.
With most roads treated, most of the snow melted almost immediately, leaving roads primarily wet.
With temperatures hovering near the freezing mark, ice patches developing through the early evening were a concern.
Throughout most of the day highways along the Route 202 corridor moved well with no major accidents, delays or mass transit problems.
Some Chester County schools closed or adjusted hours in advance of the storm.
