1 killed, 1 wounded in North Philadelphia shooting, police say
Police are investigating a double shooting that turned deadly early Sunday morning in North Philadelphia.
One man was shot and killed around 3:15 a.m. near 8th and Oxford streets, Philadelphia police said.
On Monday, Philadelphia police identified the victim as 30-year-old Rafi Colon-White.
Police say Colon-White was found inside a 2022 gray Subaru Outback suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Police took him to the hospital, where he died about an hour later.
The second victim, a 34-year-old man, suffered gunshot wounds to both legs. He is in the hospital in critical condition.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
