6 Injured, Including 3 Children, In Serious Crash On MLK Drive

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A serious car crash took place on Martin Luther King Drive on Wednesday afternoon. That accident took place around 4:50 p.m.

Six people were injured, including three children, according to authorities.

Officials announced that the three children were transported to Hahnemann Hospital.

Lanes in both directions on Martin Luther King Drive were closed  at the Strawberry Mansion Bridge, according to the Philadelphia Police.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash. The incident took place between Strawberry Mansion and the Falls Bridge.

There is still no word at this time on the conditions of those injured.
