3 Arrested In Jersey City Shooting That Killed Boy, 16
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — 3 people have been arrested on murder charges stemming from a shooting in Jersey City that left a 16-year-old dead.
Police found Ronald Witherspoon with an apparent gunshot wound to the head in the area of Monticello and Belmont avenues on July 22. He died at a hospital on July 23.
Police arrested 24-year-old Naji McDuffy and 21-year-old Darius Emanuel on Friday. They arrested 24-year-old Justin Nesmith on Saturday.
The Jersey City residents are charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons charges.
They are due to make an initial court appearance on Monday.
It is not known if they have lawyers who can speak about the charges.
