2 Officers Injured During Scuffle With Suspect In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two officers were injured after a brief scuffle with a car-jacking suspect.
The incident happened on Friday night around 8:54 p.m. near 900 N Broad Street in Philadelphia, where police encountered a suspect accused of an attempted carjacking.
During a scuffle, the two officers attempting to arrest the suspect suffered injuries to their hands.
Both officers were transported to Roxborough Hospital with possible broken hands. They're expected to be treated and released.
Police were able to arrest the suspect, who has not been identified.
