PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Emergency crews were called out just before 10:00 p.m., responding to a crash that involved a police SUV.

Officials say two police officers, a 44-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, were taken to Einstein Medical Center as a result of the crash. The incident took place at 21 Street and Conlyn Street.

One officer suffered a broken leg and another suffered broken ribs as a result. Officials say the man in the other vehicle, fled the scene on foot, but was later apprehended.
