108-Year-Old Ruth Hopson, Oldest Person In Philadelphia, Receives COVID-19 Vaccine
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A special vaccination for the oldest person in Philadelphia. Eyewitness News was there when 108-year-old Ruth Hopson received her dose of the vaccine this afternoon.
She's one of the few people who've now lived through this pandemic and the 1918 flu pandemic.
Hopson's two daughters were also given the vaccine, a relieving day for the entire family.
