Deck Collapses At Clay Pits Pond State Preserve On Staten Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A wooden deck collapsed near a pond on Staten Island Friday morning.
Several people were standing on the overlook deck on Tappens Pond when it collapsed.
It happened at around 10:30 a.m. at Clay Pits Pond State Preserve on Arthur Kill Road.
A local school group was on a trip in the area.
There were no significant injuries, officials said.
