NJ Man Attempts To Break Karaoke Marathon World Record

JACKSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Outside McGinn's Pub in Jackson under a yellow and white striped tent you'll find a singing Mike Miller.

The Six Flags Great Adventure safari warden known as "Wild Mike" started singing at noon Tuesday and he plans to keep going through 6 p.m. Saturday.

NJ Man Attempts To Break Karaoke Marathon World Record

Miller, 25, of Jackson is battling the cold and exhaustion as he tries to break the world record for longest karaoke marathon and raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

"It was definitely cold last night, I think it was like 21 degrees," said Jared Seals, who is one of the witnesses for the record.

For every hour Miller sings, he gets a five minute break.

"He does have a whistle on him, he blows the whistle that means he wants something to eat or something like that so if he blows the whistle everybody runs to Mike," Seals said.

Miller has a whiteboard to communicate because he's trying to save his voice, but he did give 1010 WINS a thumbs up.
