Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident but Jones' family said she was riding a Dollar van when she got sick and fell out as the van sideswiped another vehicle.

Jones was pronounced dead at Queens General Hospital.

Police are trying to find the red or burgundy colored van they believe was involved in the accident.

The victim's twin sister is pleading for the driver to come forward.

"If it was an accident, it was an accident but if you're running that means you know what you did was wrong and you shouldn't do that," Tonyia Mobley told CBS 2.

"They should come forward," Jones' tenant Billy Clarke told 1010 WINS' Steve Sandberg. "Accidents do happen. There's an element of forgiveness in everything but they will have no rest if they don't."

Those who knew Jones said she was wonderful and vivacious but recently had been coping with the murder of her 20-year-old daughter who was gunned down in Queens in August.
