More Than 30 Tips Come In To 'America's Most Wanted' On Missing Westchester Native Lauren Spierer
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police in Bloomington, Indiana say they've received more than 30 tips about missing Westchester native Lauren Spierer since Saturday's broadcast of America's Most Wanted, according to Indiana's WISH-TV.
The 20-year-old Indiana University college student from Greenburgh has been missing since June 3, when she was last seen a few hours after leaving a popular Bloomington bar with friends.
Saturday night, AMW aired the details of Lauren's disappearance in hopes someone would have information on her whereabouts. Police say so far, none of the tips have led to any major breakthroughs in the case.
At a news conference in Bloomington Sunday, Lauren's mother Charlene Spierer, begged to the person who has information about her daughter's disappearance to come forward.
She also had a message for Lauren: "I love you. I love you with all my heart and I need you back."
Police have said they have 10 "persons of interest'' they want to speak to but don't consider them suspects.
