HeroBuilders Creates Anatomically Correct Anthony Weiner Doll

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - How'd you like to play with your Weiner all day long?

At least one company thinks you might want to., which has made custom action figures of various political figures ranging from Sarah Palin to Jimmy "The Rent Is Too Damn High" McMillan, has now made one of Anthony Weiner.

The Weiner doll is dressed in his underwear. A large blue sticker near his groin reads "Tweet This."

There are two versions of the doll. One is $39.95, and is a standard doll. The other, for $49.95, is described as being for "adults only."

Emil Vicale, president of the company, says it has been an exhausting few days since they came up with the idea for the doll.

"It went from idea, to molding, to production to getting the word out" in fifty hours, Vicale said. "I'm losing my mind, my ears are bleeding and my eyes hurt."

The company is in the business of grinding out doll versions of people in the news. Vicale knew when the Anthony Weiner sexting scandal story broke that there would be interest.

Sales are going well.

"It's doing pretty good. The sales should be a few thousand by the end of this week. I'm pretty pleased with it," Vicale said. "I actually thought there would be much more interest."

But which version of the doll is selling?

"The more expensive version is the version everyone wants, and there's a reason for that," Vicale said. "99 percent of all the orders are for the more expensive version." The company dubbed that version the "Weiner Weiner" doll.

The anatomically correct version features a flexible appendage that can be bent in several directions. Vicale said when they were designing the doll, they decided to be generous.

"I made him look like a super hero," Vicale said. "We're 'Hero Builders' after all - this isn't Ken."
