Wide-ranging tribute to rather ridiculous voices in music

(CBS News) Last week we got our first taste of a collaboration between experimental music group, CDZA (short for Collective Cadenza, and featured many times on The Feed previously), and comedic musical group, The Key of Awesome, in the form of a "hip-hop shopping spree". Today we get to see their sequel work above which (lovingly!) highlights the rather ridiculous voices of a multitude of major singers over the decades. Go ahead and take a look and listen.

The tongue-in-cheek play on a wide range of vocalists was posted by BarelyPolitical, and covers everything from Billie Armstrong to Billie Joe Armstrong (My clever way of identifying differences in decades and styles!). And while it includes some of the more obvious choices like Bob Dylan (Seriously, who didn't see that one coming?), there are also quite a few surprising ones in the mix that make a lot of sense when you stop to think about them. After all, while possibly a bit odd on their own, it's these unique voice styles and sounds that actually draw us to the singers and make them stand out in the first place, right? Or something like that...

Either way, another excellent collaboration between The Key of Awesome and CDZA that has earned them both a big triple-rainbow salute of excellence in musical humor from all of us here at The Feed! And to check out more great work from these two very talented groups, definitely be sure to click on their respective names to go to their YouTube pages.
