Topics for third presidential debate announced

The moderator of the third and last presidential debate has submitted the topics for the next general election face-off, according to the Commission for Presidential Debates (CPD).

CPD announced Thursday that Fox News’ Chris Wallace chose to discuss the following issues: Debt and entitlements, immigration, the economy, the Supreme Court, foreign hot spots, and the candidates’ fitness to be president.

The discussions will take place over the course of six 15-minute segments, with every portion dedicated to a single topic.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are both expected to attend the final presidential forum, which will likely touch on the recent deluge of scandals surrounding both campaigns.

Since the second debate, Trump has been hit by a rash of sexual assault accusations and the publication of more audio recordings with Trump’s lewd, questionable comments.

For Clinton’s part, the campaign continues to deal with the fallout from a personal email hack targeting campaign chairman John Podesta.

The last debate will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The debate will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET.
