Contrary to popular belief, there are some Latinos living in U.S. border towns who, rather than taking offense at Donald Trump's controversial comments on immigration, actually see things as he does. Gunfire's aftermath
A day after a murder-suicide on the UCLA campus, authorities named the victim. And questions emerged about security procedures on campus. Students were instructed to shelter in place but, without proper locks for some doors, several students were forced to improvise as they sought to keep the shooter from reaching them.
Ever-escalating
The price of cancer drugs is soaring, straining patients' budgets as the average annual cost of treatment approaches $60,000. While some of that increase is from drugmakers jacking up prices of existing drugs, other factors are in play, as well.
Bigger Questions
The shooting death of a gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo has provoked a debate about the balance between public safety and animal rights. But some critics draw a harder line, arguing that zoos are failing in their conservation mission, and pushing for an end to the breeding of animals in captivity.
Hurricane "Amnesia"?
After several years without any major hurricanes along the the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, experts warn that coastal residents may want to batten down the hatches this year. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts up to eight nasty storms this hurricane season, with other estimates saying nearly 7 million homes could be in jeopardy.

Although Las Vegas oddsmakers consider the Golden State Warriors the favorite to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the best-of-seven NBA Finals that begin tonight, the battle for athletic attire supremacy between the teams' biggest stars is shaping up much differently.
