Macklemore flash mob dance performance at Yale

(CBS News) We here at The Feed like to think we have a knack for identifying talent. To give an idea, we've been singing the praises of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for years now (way before they blew up!). Which leads me to this video that tangentially involves them. But instead of "singing" praise, they're paid tribute with a dance performance: Ivy-league flash mob-style!

The dance moves on display video was posted by Yale Campus who write about the caught-on-tape, fun break from studying at the library moment:

A flash mob of dancers took over the Sterling Memorial Library nave at 10:00 am on Monday, April 29th, 2013 to the tune of Macklemore's hit, "Thrift Shop." The Library-organized event drew 40 performers from across the University. Undergrads, graduate students, post docs, staff, and alumni rehearsed a piece choreographed by Christina Dancy, an area dancer and educator, for 2 rigorous weeks. The performance was timed to coincide with Macklemore's Spring Fling appearance and to celebrate the library's interior before it undergoes 18 months of renovations, commencing this June.
A very creative and excellent way to laud Macklemore's appearance on the campus that has earned Yale and these 40 performers a big triple-rainbow salute and honorary PhD from all of us here at The Feed University*!
