Leslie Jones snags Olympics invite after live-tweeting games

Tweeting up a storm sure has paid off for actress Leslie Jones this summer.

First, the comedian was offered a stunning Christian Siriano gown for her "Ghostbusters" premiere, and now she's snagged an invitation to the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.

Jones can't stop live-tweeting hilarious commentary on the Olympics (interspersed with tweets on how much she loves empanadas). She even posted videos of herself cheering on Team USA in patriotic gear and her love for the games hasn't flagged one bit.

The comedian's tweets caught the attention of producer Mike Shoemaker, who tweeted at NBC's Olympics executive producer Jim Bell to get Jones to Rio.

Bell promptly responded, "OK @Lesdoggg you're officially invited to Rio. Want to come?"

As much as Jones loves the Olympics, she hasn't committed yet to attending the games (at least on Twitter).

"So the question is....should I go? Hmmm," she wrote.

But if she does go, she did say to one concerned fan, "I promise I'll make it fun." We believe her.
