Samuel L. Jackson's Olympic tweets might not have gotten him invited to Rio like Leslie Jones, but he's still having a ball keeping tabs on Team USA.

The "Avengers" star spent the weekend enthusiastically live-tweeting the events unfolding in Rio, and he has been completely unable to hide his excitement.

"So pumped to cheer on USA's finest @TeamUSA tonight! @NBCOlympics Let's do this!" Jackson posted before the Opening Ceremony on Friday.

From then on, it was nonstop excitement for Jackson, even if some of his tweets didn't have much context for non-Olympic viewers.

One thing remained clear, though: Jackson is a big fan of women's gymnastics.
